Bio

Jessye Scott is a writer from Jacksonville, Florida who currently lives in Shanghai.

Her fiction and nonfiction has appeared in The Quotable, WFSU’s Fresh Picked Prose, and Funny in Five Hundred, and Potato Soup Journal.

She holds a BA in Creative Writing from the Florida State University, where she was the poetry editor of the university’s biannual literary journal The Kudzu Review and the social media manager for the Reading-Writing Center.

She was the prose winner of the 2016 Florida Voices Writing Contest and is currently working on a collection of short stories.
